His political inclinations surprised former classmates. He didn’t appear particularly strange or anything. “I would have classified him as a Republican,” a classmate said to a television network.

Bethel Park High School alumna Sarah D’Angelo stated: “He never outwardly spoke about his political views or how much he hated Trump or anything.”
The night of the rally, Crooks, decked out in gray, broke through the top of an adjacent manufacturing building, carrying a rifle his father had acquired in the style of an AK.
