Out of the five killed in the Ladakh flash flood, three troops from Andhra Pradesh

Soldiers from Andhra Pradesh had their bodies taken to Vijayawada for last ceremonies. Subhan Khan, S Nagaraju, and M Ramakrishna Reddy perished in the Shyok River’s flash floods. The JCO Reddy was scheduled to retire in December. There will be military ceremonies to commemorate the warriors.

 

VIJAYAWADA : Five army soldiers from Andra Pradesh were among the five who were carried away on Friday night when flash floods occurred in the Shyok River close to the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in eastern Ladakh. The soldier lost his life when the Russian-made T-72 tank he was riding in became stranded in the rapid-surging river that followed a flash flood.

 

The three troops were recognized as S Nagaraju (age 32) from the hamlet of Chevendra under Pedana.

After enlisting in the army 25 years ago, M. Rama Krishna Reddy advanced to the rank of JCO. According to his relatives and family, he will retire in December of this year. His two sons have enlisted in the military as well; one is in the air force and the other in the army.

Nagaraju was attached to the 52 Armoured Regiment after he enlisted in the army in 2016. In 2019, he tied the knot with Mangadevi. Hasini, the couple’s newborn child, was born a year ago. S Sivaiah, his brother, is also a soldier.

On July 7, Subhan Khan, who enlisted in the army almost ten years ago, was scheduled to return home on leave. He had informed his family that he will return home the same evening on a flight scheduled for July 7.

On Monday night, the three soldiers’ lifeless corpses arrived in Vijayawada. On Tuesday, the soldier’s last rituals will be carried out with military honors in their hometowns.
